Finn of Tomland This label sure know how to release wonderfully quirky experimental Electronica and on this split release they deliver in abundance.
Both A'Bear and SLITE has produced some strange melodic, odd rhythms with beautiful soundscapes that fit the title of this epic nice release like a glove.
Highly recommended.

about

After their appearance on the NoSR X - In Search Of Hope compilation, A’Bear and SLITE are back on No Suit Records for a split tape. As usual, the only recipes here are bass, complicated music, and traveling atmospheres, making this tape perfect for both home listening, and club soundsystem.

A Side - A’BEAR
The artist defines herself as someone who gave up trying to be normal and found herself doing strange and awesome things. And that’s what she delivers on the A Side of the tape: with You’re In There Somewhere, she samples and loops voices to define her own rules—it’s most probably how she’ll get you lost. As a second track, she brings the unconventional Unstuck that could be a techno track, except it’s not one... You might find it strange—we surely do—but you might start to move your head with a smile too. A’Bear finally closes her side of the tape with Fool Technique, building the tension down as the track evolves, and bringing you in an ecstatic state of mind.

B Side - SLITE
For the B Side, SLITE is on duty. True to his experimental way of producing music, he starts slowly with Symbiosis, a melodic track that could perfectly be played in any situations, from building up or down the tension in a podcast, to keeping the tension in an unusual state of climax. His second track, Punch, lives up to its name—the vicious melody can only catch your attention and stay with you for some days. And to keep the ravers somewhere in sight, the tape ends up on SLITE’s Invaders, a deconstructed–club anthem that will most probably make you dance no matter where you are, in your living room, on a walk, or on a still empty dancefloor.
